Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies. In line with Health & Safety requirements, we will provide our clients with the necessary Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH documentation for the projects we undertake, which are completed by our trained staff.
OUR COMMITMENT TO TRAINING
All of our site and service engineers have passed the industry standard SKILLcard/CITB-Construction Skills Health & Safety Test.
Our clients may also require our engineers to undergo specialist training before undertaking specialist projects, therefore we have engineers that are highly trained to work on all types of fire protection systems and environments.
As part of our ISO9001 Accreditation, all employee training is reviewed annually. As with Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH documentation, by request, we can also provide copies of our engineer’s training certificates, as well as our complexed training matrix to our clients before undertaking works.
CITATION PLC – OUR EXTERNAL HEALTH & SAFETY CONSULTANTS
We currently seek professional advice from our external Health & Safety Consultancy Citation Plc. All of their highly experienced Health & Safety consultants have been awarded professional membership, by examination, of either the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or the International Institute of Risk Safety Management (IIRSM). Citation Plc advises us on all aspects of Health & Safety including compliance, safe systems of work, risk assessments and related paperwork.
A Health & Safety Audit is carried out annually with our dedicated Citation Consultant to review progress against the previous health & safety audits and to offer any additional advice and guidance to ensure we are in line with current H&S legal requirements.
